Went for my first bridesmaid dress fitting today and I was a little nervous. When she first measured me it was before my last healthy kick, I've been on holiday since and was pretty certain my dress was either going to just fit or be too small - she's needing to take it in at least 3 inches across the back  How did that happen?

Can't wait for my next one as I'm planning to have lost a stone + ;)

well done :D

FINALLY!! Reached £20 payout on the Surveynetwork site - I've only been a member since July 2014 and we're now in April 2016! I'm sure I must qualify as the person with the most screenouts - EVER! Needless to say I won't be aiming for another payout! On the other hand I had a £3 Pinecone and a £2 Populus survey this morning which took minutes ;D

It is my birthday! Daisy was awake for 5 hours in a row in the night (all the books claim a baby can only stay awake for 2 hours - haha!) so I mentioned to Tom I would like to skip going for a posh meal.

He came home with McDonald's breakfast and my favourite foods for lunch and dinner too! Oh and chocolates and birthday cake! He had got me two cards (wife and mummy) and he had put lots of thought into my gifts too so that made me happy today Oh and he remarked how he was looking at photos and he could really see all the weight I have lost - he's not big on compliments so I know he must mean it lol

I finally saw the Wildwood bears together last Friday. I wish I'd had a tripod, the video's a bit unsteady but not bad considering I was holding over 2kg of kit still :D
They're doing so well!

I don't think there's any way to embed a FB video but here's the link if anyone wants to watch them messing about.

Thanks.
Yeah, it did. I'd seen them separately a few times but it's great to see them getting on so well after spending 15 years on their own in concrete pits.

I am smiling today because a good opportunity landed on my door. Life is really full of surprises on the less time you expect it.

I looked to buy a book today from Amazon.co.uk but they don't sell it brand new :( 3rd party sellers wanted £940! (yes, thats correct!). I could have got it via Kindle but I wanted the physical copy. I was writing an email to a friend based in the US as I could see it on Amazon.com but then I thought, "I wonder if Amazon.com ship to the uk?" For £6 they do. I'm getting a new copy delivered for £12.61 direct from Amazon.com!

That has cheered me up no end :)

Wonga are making big losses.

Oh dear, what a pity, never mind.

Maybe we should have a whip round and offer to lend them a few quid (at an appropriate interest rate, obviously).

My clever daughter has just rung to say that she has an interview for a therapists job next week at a spa that she's loved for years - Thermae in Bath. Fingers crossed that she gets her dream job :)

The great weather we are having this week. Very lucky my employer lets me work from home on an ad-hoc basis :)

Playing "Spot the UKIPper" over email with my gf.

Find a local council ward with a UKIP councillor and send her pics of all councillors for that ward, she has to guess which one is UKIP.

She's at 90%, sometimes they make it too easy.
