First time posting here, be kind to me... ;)
Working from home today and watching a film I shot of my children on my break made me smile...
Have a nice day everyone!

The fact that my son was tentatively accepted into a school which we thought would be impossible to get into!!! I jumped out of my sofa where I was napping when I saw an email. I still cannot believe it and I will try to hold my excitement as we have to send some docs through until you get a confirmed place. But woohooo nevertheless! ;D ;D ;D

What is more -- my boss said I can just go home from an external meeting which ended at 3.30pm -- I had coffee then cycled home (though it was torrential rain). Got home before 5pm! ;)

[member=871]Twiggy[/member] definitely some strange weather going on. Been mostly sunny here in Wigan today, but looking at the weather radar we have snow showers heading our way! ???

Put DB in a sling for the first time today :) She has drifted off to sleep almost instantly, after having a grizzle beforehand, and I've managed to get the dinner prep done and now I'm going to do some work until she wakes up!

Agreed, my daughter is now 3 but still likes to go in our carrier at times (a bit too big for a sling now but we've got a toddler carrier to accommodate her), so much easier than carrying a pram around for when she wants to rest.

This news story:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-36070182

Greenpeace activists have put face masks on statues in London to protest about pollution levels.

They got all the top ones covered: Nelson's Column, Eros at Piccalilli Circus, Queen Victoria outside Buckingham Palace, Cromwell at Parliament, Boudicca at Westminster Bridge and the most high profile of them all... Thierry Henry at the Emirates Stadium.

Clever way to attract publicity, you wouldn't get me up Nelson's Column for a million quid though!

I agree, they get to make their point without actually damaging anything.

They'll probably need to use a crane to get the Nelson's Column one off, I doubt health and safety would allow anyone to climb it.

Went for my first bridesmaid dress fitting today and I was a little nervous. When she first measured me it was before my last healthy kick, I've been on holiday since and was pretty certain my dress was either going to just fit or be too small - she's needing to take it in at least 3 inches across the back  How did that happen?

Can't wait for my next one as I'm planning to have lost a stone + ;)
