So, am finally having a go at selling some unwanted rubbish on ebay. These are saved wine bottle corks for crafting and an old empty iphone box so far. I also have a huge collection of metal bottle tops which I may have a go at selling. Some people even reckon to make money selling cardboard toilet roll tubes! I am sure there must be more stuff in the house I can find a buyer for. Will let you know how much I manage to make and if this is worth a go. For me, it is more of an interesting experiment as I am posting various things on Ebay. I wonder how many other people have had a go at selling things like this before?

I sold some jam jars a few years back. I was buying the very cheapest jam and marmalade from Tesco (you know, the one that is basically just coloured sugar) at the time I think they were only 30p each or something. Once they were empty I saved them up then bought some posh looking lids for them and sold them at £4 for 6. Probably not really worth it for the hassle involved but I got free jam and marmalade for a couple of years doing that.

That cheap and nasty marmalade is 75p a jar now, but I've started making my own jam anyway so now I just keep the jars and reuse them.

Empty wine and beer bottles will sell too because people use them for home brewing.
