I wouldn't say it's a scam. Yes they pay pennies, yes they get you to pay a refundable deposit. No, there's no guarantee of work but the young lady who set the company up wouldn't have her face splashed all over the internet if it were intended to be a scam. I think they mean well.
I got accepted too (thought I'd give it a go despite my messy writing) but probably won't go ahead with it as god knows how long it would take to get my £25 back in earnings. If they haven't already, I think they'll probably end up with more writers than they do work to give out and lots of people will earn either a few pounds or nothing
People throw the word 'scam' around too easily.
Why do they need people to pay £25 for the 'privilege' of working for them? The golden rule with work from home opportunities is that if they ask for money upfront AVOID. Do they tell you what this 'writers pack' consists of and why you have to pay £25 to get it?
