My Testimonial and Advice/Strategy: This is a semi-passive earner, that once set up correctly can earn passive income. But... of course with anything there is some initial time and dedication required. This is an honest pros & cons review, based on my experiences and others I know.

Like I said there is some time and dedication needed, but it's good to think of this as an investment. If you really want to make this as passive as possible, there are a few pit-falls that you will need to avoid.

Firstly though, what am I on about..? Well, getting paid to take Photos. I know it sounds easy and it can be if done correctly. Over a fairly short period of time* (With a little time and investment) while doing this you can make income off of these photos, it's not a case of uploading one or two random photos and generating profits. If you are already into photography though this could be a fairly seamless way of broadening the monetisation of your content.

So...i'll get straight to it, but since this is my first post I'd like to add a little intro and a little truth for everyone. I want this to be a no BS way of earning some passive income (and this applies to all my posts) I'm not some shady as$ guru trying to sell you on a sh!t course. I'm just a standard guy who tries out passive (& non-passive) income ideas. Some end up being absolutely terrible but others are good and actually work, but "Straight Up Through My Experience Nothing Is a Money Maker With No Work !" don't get me wrong, you can make money fast with some of the things I share and will come to share in the future but it takes effort. Truth be told, most passive income channels (in my experience) are just a little bit of gritty hustle and staying focused, because it can get tedious) but stay at it and it will work ! It's the 90% that stop after the first 48 hrs that make no money, it's the 10% who carry on that make the money.

Right, Onto this post then like is said no BS straight to the avoidable pit-falls or just good practice when doing this form of Semi-passive income...

Get High Quality Content
Don't worry I don't mean go out and get an expensive camera, an iPhone or good android will work just fine. Make sure you find nice settings/unique perspectives/and Interesting Topics or Subjects.

How to take better photos,
- use gridlines to balance your shot

- In settings put "aperture: lowest number" + "zoom: High/Highest" to create contrast between the background and foreground

- Play with light for example: times of day, reflections, bounce light. (a personal tip from me is of taking pictures indoors play with lighting your subject by hanging sheets of other materials over the windows to diffuse the light and create different mood/tones plus that's free! no equipment needed)

Be Consistent and Organised

Remember how I said a little earlier it can be a quick form of passive income, well this factor is the key to that (and distinguishing yourself from the others...the 90%). Upload on a regular basis and keeping all of your photos organised so that they read like a portfolio to any interested eyes is how to really monetise your work. Keep in mind you want this to make money, think of it like a business presentation to all of your perspective buyers. The better and the larger the portfolio the more buyers and product to buy. ("you follow ? ")

Tips:
- think about colours, not just in the pictures themselves but a series of pictures that have the same colour (ex. 3 or 6). Doing this again and again creates a really unique effect on your page and its free to do it just takes a little effort.

- a good rule of thumb is to try and upload at least 10 times a week, don't worry you don't have to spend all day taking photos, I'd recommend blocking out 1-2hrs of time to take photos. (but remember Quality & Quantity !) In this time I can get 10, 20 or even 30 pics that are a whole 3 weeks of uploading all in just 2-hrs !

Following the steps above and building a good quality portfolio as quickly as possible is the best way to start generating semi-passive income but like I said earlier if you build this up enough it can become fully passive and from there you can just leave your portfolios out there for millions of people to see and buy every month.

Thank you for taking the time to read and wishing you all the best on your money making journey.
