Lots of things on these wishlists here

I wonder if anyone has managed to get the items they wanted after all these months?

My wishlist for 2017: (although we're already over 1/3 through)

Get to £2000 in savings (currently £1375.03)
Start doing some driving lessons again
Pass my GCSE English (been on an evening course since Sep, got my exams in June)

I'm sure I'll think of some more to add later :)

You're doing great with your savings!!

How much are driving lessons these days? When I learned in 1998 they were £11 an hour which was hard enough to earn at that age!

Looking at £21 an hour now!

Hoping to do an intensive course though, 40hrs, theory and practical around £800-1,000.

Wow! This is a really inspiring thread. Fab looking back at how people have realised some of their wishes :)

OK, so I'm adding mine here in the hope that in due course I'll be able to tick some things off :-

    - Funky new laptop
    - New dining chairs
    - Complete overhaul of Son's bedroom (decor and furniture)

I have lots more house-related spends but thought I'd break it down into realistic chunks.

Anyone else care to update previous posted lists/add new?
