In all seriousness though there's a fair few good offers around today including ladbrokes for football and coral for the rugby league grand final which I refuse to lay off as I'll be at Old Trafford tonight for it supporting Leeds lol

Just out of curiosity, are there people that actually go for these offers (the Betfair one)?

I assume there are because otherwise they wouldn't put them up but £2500 of wagering just to get £20 bonus is insane!!

There are people who will easily hit that target just from standard recreational play on BF Arcade Slots. So for those people it is an additional bonus on top.

I suppose it shouldn't come as a shock that people would do £2500 wagering in a few days!

The thing is it is not 'Wagering' for those people. There are people who will easily 'Play' that amount of money without there being any incentive at all.

Not too bad today. Refund for the first race from Sky. Also go an email from them with a 100% deposit match on Vegas with 2x wagering. Walked away with £55 from that. A sneaky tenner from the Hills Pixie offer and small ql's for the Redbet offer and the Ladbrokes fight offer.
Racing was rubbish today though really. Thought Blue Point was going to do it for me for the 2 clear and 3 lengths offer but all it managed to do was suck my exchange, grrr

How do people do extra places offers? Is there any way of setting your lay stakes so you always at least break even or do you have to just accept a qualifying loss for each one?
This is all new to me!

There is not always a QL - typically though if there isn't a QL it is because the Win makes a loss but the Place makes a profit. The OM tool makes it easy enough to see the QL (I don't know if PA has a similar tool), but you just have to keep checking.

I need to spend some time looking at this tool

I've currently been forced to have a OM subscription due to being an affiliate for them but I've done nothing with the actual account I've created at all lol

I've currently been forced to have a OM subscription due to being an affiliate for them but I've done nothing with the actual account I've created at all lol
1) I don't think you don't actually have to have an active Premium OM account to still be an affiliate (unless you have special T&Cs) - I was still monthly until after the move, my sub lapsed during the 2 weeks without internet, but my affiliate account was still live and active.
2) the Oddsmatcher it is DEFINITELY an upgrade on the PA one, you have the ability to see underlay and overlay options in the calc screen, a greater number of bookies, more results, more filter options, ability to save filters (I have ones for PP 2UP, Sunbets Half Time for instance), better autorefresh options (if you have the 12 month sub), AND Betfair integration - I definitely like this and the 2% commission is definitely making me use it more.
3) more sign-ups - i.e SuperLenny was one I hadn't seen on PA
4) The tools - The Extra Place Matcher is definitely worth a look (there is also an Each Way Matcher, but I don't use that as much), but also look at Acca Finder - similar to the PA one and I found it found lower QL ones than PA did (the lack of a filter for big matches is a downside though), and the Dutch Matcher - I find it ideal for mugging.

Yeah they emailed me

Appears it's in their T&Cs (might be new!)
Do I need to be an OddsMonkey Premium member to be an affiliate?
Yes, it is a requirement of our affiliate programme that you must be a current OddsMonkey Premium member and maintain this membership for as long as you are an OddsMonkey affiliate.

Wasn't in the T&Cs I signed-up to, but it is academic as I have the full 12 month sub now - if you expect to keep the affiliate account active then you should definitely make sure you have the 12 month sub - cheaper and has the auto refresh on the Oddsmatcher - for a FULL 100 results if you want.

PS I do like the forum more on OM - I have alerts for the "Price Boosts - NO CHAT", "Close Match Thread For Ongoing Offers - No Chat" and the 'Offers You Found" threads, which are invaluable and get a lot more posts than the PA equivalents.

That's super interesting thanks, maybe I need to look in to OM instead at the end of the month! People wax lyrical about the PA forum but sometimes I find it a little dry, some threads very rarely updated etc.. food for thought!
