Does anyone on here use an online solution for keeping track of their finances?

I'm sick to the back teeth of having to look at one website for chasing my paypal invoices, another for other types of invoice, my HSBC account to see what money I have in my self employed account, another spreadsheet for some other information.

Does anyone use something like quickbooks or Xero to keep track of their self employed income online? There's no software with these things as they are all just a 'one website for everything approach but I'm getting quite tempted to start using one so that I can have a better handle on my self employed money.

What do all you lot use? Excel Spreadsheet and a million different logins? lol

I use Clearbooks for a couple of companies, one with Payroll and VAT reports the other without payroll but with VAT MOSS reports. I did test accounts on Sage One, Xero and Clearbooks. Sage appaered to have good telephone tech support which I prefer to chat or email, answered the phone quickly. But in the end the advice I got seemed to be confusing and contradictory. Xero was very slow support and email only.
Clearbooks was good, sometimes you had to wait for them to ring you back but the advice was great. has gone down a bit recently depending on who picks up the support phone.

Although it would seem the least "standard" of them, my accountant got used to it very quickly, so it has saved me money compared to what I was paying a bookkeeper (and without the horrendous mistakes.

With Yodlee bank account integration, you see you invoices, bills, bank account all in one place - and you know it's right because the bank accounts reconcile with the invoices, bills, dividends etc. (Shameless plug: if you want to get a test account there you can do it via my referral link and I get a month free subscription I think!)

I realise as a first post looks a bit like I'm a shill for Clearbooks. I would have introduced myself but there seems to be no introduction forum. I found this via the xenforo.com website as I also run a forum that uses the xenforo platform

You will have got an email when you joined up

In that email it gave you a link to the introductions thread ;)

https://www.themoneyshed.co.uk/index.php?threads/the-introduce-yourself-thread.13/

Aha yes, I missed that (Actually the link was right at the bottom of the email which seemed to have quite a few ads in it so I sort of turned off after GRAB SOME HALF PRICE GIFT VOUCHERS .

I think it may be better to put important forum stuff at the beginning, all those other links etc. put me off a bit. Sorry!
