Hello.
It is as good as any.
Even weekly might be too short. I don't know how much ad revenue you are expecting to make but I imagine it isn't going to be a huge amount, so might need to to let it build up a bit longer to make the prizes more meaningful. Or maybe a small weekly prize and a...
Your town has a physical job centre? That is quite the rarity these days. Do people still have to sign on every two weeks? I've wondered how you're supposed to do that when there isn't one in a ten mile radius anymore.
EON tried that mouse trick on with me when my solar panel system failed. They traced it to a fault in the control box but said because I had a mouse problem I wouldn't be covered by their guarantee as mice are known to chew through cables. I do have a mouse problem and had traps down, so that...
Have you done the First Direct switch yet? They are paying £175 if you switch your current account to them and deposit £1000. They have a 7% savings account too. You'd need a spare current account to switch though so you don't lose the Barclays one.
I sold some jam jars a few years back. I was buying the very cheapest jam and marmalade from Tesco (you know, the one that is basically just coloured sugar) at the time I think they were only 30p each or something. Once they were empty I saved them up then bought some posh looking lids for them...
I saw someone in a charity shop last week scanning the barcodes on some of the books with his phone. I think he must have had a website that was checking the value of them, or just checking them on Amazon or something. Rather seems like cheating
Is that right they only pay minimum wage?
Cost of a lesson to the pupil is £34
Pay to the tutor is £10.60 an hour.
They are making a pretty penny with that set up, unless I'm missing something and the lessons are much longer than an hour
They closed my account because I wasn't using it. Which was a bit mean because I was level 4 and might have dipped back into it at some time. Probably won't bother signing up again and starting fresh now though.
As far as income tax goes you do not need to register as self employed or report anything for £21 a month, or the odd few quid from selling old crap at a boot sale or ebay. Not sure how it affects universal credit.

For anyone who wants a simple, no commission share dealing account I can recommend Trading 212. I use it as my main share dealing account for my ISA. To get the risk free free share you only have until 24th Jan so you will need to act quickly.

I imagine it would be only be people registered as business sellers. What's the point in collecting and reporting data on Wayne selling his old Nike Trainers once a year? That doesn't help anyone, just makes an extra layer of bureaucracy.
The AI ones are good if anyone has them available, but take an hour so its a bit of a commitment to start one, you have to stick with it for the full hour.
