As I have just started out doing mystery shops i am a bit cautious of continuing with them until ive been paid for the tasks ive already completed.

Im a bit unsure how long i should wait to see payment and reimbursement of expenses, obviously each company will have its own payout dates but as a rule how long would you wait?

Perhaps some of the more experienced people could post how long certain companies take to payout as a guide for us newbies?

I for example am still waiting on Tern to pay for a shop carried out on 8 November and Streetspotr from 26 October, anybody have any idea when these would be paid out?

Many thanks :)

Tern have regular paycycles. Depending on when your shop was approved it may have missed this months so it'll probably6 be in the next one. They do pay though and are a legit company so don't worry too much. You have to request the payment from streetspottr via the app. Its not automatic. Can take 3-5 working days after requesting payment to show up in your paypal although its normally a lot quicker.

I do Red wigwam which seems to be weekly after the job is approved by the client and GFK which is fortnightly on a Tuesday after the job is approved. The website has
the cut off dates for claims. I have not had a problem with payment from either company. Both pay directly into my bank. The difference being that Red wigwam treat you as an employee and deduct tax and GFK leave you to sort out your own.

Only use 2 atm mainly 'cos I'm lazy:

RedWigWam - daily / weekly (Friday) / monthly once approved - you can choose which suits you best in your profile.
Ipsos - About 2 weeks (Mondays so far for me) once approved. I think the terms says within 60 days, but hasn't taken that long yet.

I would contact Tern.. They are really quick at marking jobs complete and paying. I've completed a lot of work for them and always been paid within 5 days.
Streetspotr is 30 days average.
