I find it really poor that we haven't been emailed. I wouldn't have known without people here! (Thanks)

I emailed them and they replied back, saying they don't like to spam people. I said this would be informative rather than a spam.
I will keep using Paypal and won't let my balance built up again. Don't want to use Circle or anything else at the moment.

The survey at the moment about the baby brands was the worst thing I've done on that site. There are 7 or 8 variations listed, maybe you can do multiple but about 5 mins in I wished I hadn't bothered.

Remember doing surveys years ago about how close you feel to brands, what they mean to you. How Santander and Persil are integral parts of your life... this was very much like that. Urgh.

Sorry for the rant, I enjoy their surveys generally.

I saw that too, awful!

Did you persevere? I did. Just had another £19 from Prolific. One of my best survey sites atm.

Did you do all the surveys on baby products? In the instructions it said you should do just one of those. I was afraid to do more than one.

Yip. Got there eventually.

I did another bad one last night about character traits. Horribly/repetitively laid out and I timed out way before the end. It seems others had the same issue so hopefully the researcher pays.

I only did one bouboumum. I couldn't handle anymore!

Strange the bad surveys all came on the same day. Site is otherwise really good.

I still want to use Paypal to cash out with P.A, as I'm not overly confident about Circle and don't find it easy. My survey head says cash out to Paypal as soon as you can as the £20 incentive is gone. Common sense head says wait for it to accumulate to save the 20p's. So I'm now sitting with a balance of £35 thinking shall I cash out, or wait until I've earned more. Decisions, decisions

I just cash out now at around the £5-£10 mark depending how many surveys I get and whether I have any pending ready to be approved.
There is no incentive now and also I prefer to cash out rather than just leaving it there just in case something goes wrong. Not that it will but my hard earned cash is safer in my Bank Account. If I am not prepared to risk losing the amount then I withdraw it.

Disappointing to hear about the change in payout, and really surprised they did not let members know beforehand or at least put a clear notice up about it on the page.
I will probably continue using Paypal for now. What are the fees exactly? I don't want to start the process without knowing which amounts are best to cash out.

Thanks :)

2.9% of cash out plus 20p per transaction, I believe

I've downloaded the circle app, for the same reason! PayPal fees have never bothered me, but when you see how much they take... Wow!
I'm not sure how I feel about a payment app giving me £5 if I refer people, it seems a bit.... Tacky, am I really trusting them with bank details. Oh, my referral too if anyone wants it https://www.circle.com/invite/ITH9BY
hey Suzanne I used your code :)

A researcher sent a message to me saying that I missed an attention check. Not so sure about that as I always read everything. Needless to say, she didn't pay and it would have been for the biggest amount yet - £2.50.

Haven't received even one study since yesterday now whereas usually, I've done one, two or three in a day.

@Doobee - If you use Chrome, there's an app you can download called VisualPing. You can set it up to notify you when there's been a change on a web page. I use it for Prolific and have noticed the difference.

If you don't use Chrome, I suspect there are other similar apps for other browsers.

Yeah those attention checks have come up a few times on here as being unfair

For Firefox you can use the Distill Web Monitor Add-on and it does the same thing.
I use it and it works well.
